• To obtain Thevenins equivalent using Nortons equivalent and vice versa
• Maximum power transfer theorem ( condition for max power across load is LOAD RESISTANCE MUST BE EQUAL TO THEVENINS RESISTANCE)
• Reciprocity Theorem
